The 2020 Forest Hill Estate Shiraz is a benchmark cool-climate red from Mount Barker in Western Australia’s Great Southern region. Grown on the estate’s sustainably managed vineyards, this Shiraz reflects purity, balance, and regional elegance over power.

Aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, and plum mingle with layers of black pepper, violets, and subtle oak spice. The palate is medium-bodied and beautifully structured, showing silky tannins, fine acidity, and notes of dark fruit, olive tapenade, and cocoa. Winemaking

Hand-harvested fruit was destemmed and fermented in small open-top fermenters, with gentle plunging to preserve aromatics and texture. The wine was matured in French oak barriques (20% new) for 14 months, achieving harmony between fruit expression and oak influence.
