The Cavedon family settled in the King Valley in the 1970s, with Dino Cavedon becoming one of the early pioneers of the region. His work in viticulture was recognised by the Department of Agriculture, who approached him to develop techniques to further the field.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 2018, Dino passed the reins to his daughter Pia and her husband Gabe. Largely self-taught, Gabe heads up the winemaking with meticulous attention to detail, utilising techniques rare in the region including skin contact in whites, early picking and pressing of reds and bottle fermentation with Prosecco.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSince vintage 2023, Cavedon Wines has been sustainably certified by Sustainable Winegrowing Australia.
