Summer was predominantly warm and dry, with occasional hot spells moderated by adequate vine foliage. An earlier-than-normal harvest benefited from clear, warm days and cool nights, allowing the grapes to achieve excellent ripeness while retaining freshness and balance.

Producer Tasting Notes

Colour
Shiny dark red with a garnet hue.

Bouquet
A complex nose of red and blue fruits and an abundance of spice and floral notes including liquorice, white pepper, chai tea and rose petals.

Palate
Vibrant red fruit flavours on a medium bodied palate.
